Autopsy reveals dog attack woman died of heart attack
Published on August 4, 2012 Email To Friend    Print Version

A woman found dead on the beach near Whitby in North Caicos on Wednesday July 25, died of a heart attack.

Initial indications suggested Mary Craig had succumbed to injuries sustained during a suspected dog attack.

As a result the RTCI Police launched an investigation and an autopsy was performed. This revealed that Craig died from “acute coronary artery thrombosis” (heart attack).

However, the pathologist’s report noted that “the exertion of trying to run from the dogs and/or to defend herself may have contributed to the heart attack”.

None of the dog bites sustained by Craig caused life-threatening injuries.

Police are continuing their investigation.

Where are Mary's clothes? Where is her cell phone? If the police is incapable of properly investigating this case then bring in others who can do so!!!
