(TCI-GIS) -- On Wednesday morning the TCI Sports Commission held a press conference for Wendrico Seymour, who was being sponsored by Digicel on a one year scholarship to further his career and education in Jamaica. Seymour is the first in his family to get a chance to go aboard and further his studies.

(TCI-GIS) -- The Fourth Annual Soccer Scramble that took place in Providenicales on Sunday, May 3, proved to be a success by all that participated. The four-person net scramble which was cancelled last year as a result of World Cup participation and the September hurricanes, is put on annually.

(TCI-GIS): The Turks and Caicos Islands Sports Commission has announced the cancellation of the Third Annual National Primary and High School Championship, which were scheduled for February 23 to 27. Permanent Secretary Clara Gardiner said that there were insufficient funds to stage this year's event.
