The Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association (TCIFA) has announced that in a major step forward, HAB Ltd, one of the major developers in the Turks and Caicos Islands has taken up the reins and provided the funds to sponsor the TCIFA’s Youth Development League. From this day forward you will find our young and talented children sporting the logo of the Regent Village.
The Regent Village is now recognized as the premier shopping and retail establishment in Grace Bay. Many established businesses have already decided to put down roots, and the second phase is proving just as popular and filling up quickly.
This is the fourth development for HAB Ltd, their first being Provo Golf and Country Club, which was followed by Villa Renaissance and The Regent Grand. HAB are about to embark on their most prestigious venture to date, the Vellagio.
"We are delighted to contribute to the development of football here in the Turks and Caicos. We see our involvement as a way to not only encourage young people to develop a lifelong love of football, but to also encourage a respect of sport as a way of learning team building skills, which leads to young people living a more active and healthy lifestyle," commented Development Manager for HAB, Paul Slattery.
“Contributions like ours bring real value to today's young and gifted players; these funds will go towards training and the costs of being dedicated to football, and gives the youth the opportunity to focus more on achievement and nurturing their talents,” Slattery added.
