This is a major development in Turks and Caicos Islands political activity and will have far reaching consequences for Caribbean trends as well.

Hon Taylor is showing leadership, principle, decisiveness and honesty that he is known for around the world. Finally in these islands Turks and Caicos Islanders can hold their heads up again at this kind of bold leadership. It will mean that those who want to see the islands improve and attract quality development at this kind of leadership will support this decision. Those who have something to hide will oppose this brave decision.

This is a blueprint for success of the PDM at the next election and years to come. People will see that Derek Taylor will not allow a culture of corruption to take root in the PDM. He is proving to be the man of character that he is in word and in deed. This is a major step in the right direction. There will be no systemic corruption in the PDM.
