Governor Ric Todd has invited the people of South Caicos to come and meet him at a fourth open public meeting on the island later this week.
The meeting will take place at the Community Centre South Caicos from 1.00pm until 2.30pm on Friday, 21 September 2012.
The meeting has been called to allow the Governor to hear directly from the people about issues of concern to them.
In turn, the Governor will provide those attending with an opportunity to speak directly to him about the completion of the Interim Administrations’ milestones.
He will explain how these far reaching reforms have left the TCI with a more modern and sustainable public service, stronger control of its public finances and management of the economy as it returns to local elected government later this year.
During his visit will visit a number of government departments to meet the staff and also visit the School for Field Studies.
The Governor will be accompanied throughout by District Commissioner Emily Malcolm. Any inquires about the South Caicos visit should be directed to her on Tel: 946 3211.
The programme for similar public meetings on the other family islands will be published in due course.
